The e-smith server is already open source, and will remain so.

Ken, I don't think you have any idea what you're saying, and you
certainly don't have any idea of the amount of work that goes into
building a Linux distribution of the quality of e-smith.  

My grandmother used to tell me, "If you can't say anything nice, don't
say anything at all."  I think with some minor modifications that can
apply here: "If you can't say anything constructive, and you don't even
like the product, what are you doing on the mailing list?"

We don't have the time or energy to deal with trolls.  Either
participate in a constructive manner, or crawl back under your bridge.
