i am almost at the end of my rav trial. this sorta scares me....
what exactly did you do to uninstall it, and restore the previous config.
(I am a little inept w/linux)

When the RAV trial period expires it refuses to load. This action causes
qmail to work incorrectly.
I deleted the rav rpm and reloaded all the qmail files and everything is now
working again perfectly. I just have to find the RAV queue with 2 days of
lost messages.
I would be carefull with the RAV trialware - I can understand why the
default is to "fail closed" but losing email is not a nice option.
