for my peace of mind, some correction to previous posts about Vacation (by me) Surprise surprise, the documentation for Vacation by Peter Samuel is quite right when it warns against using preline, it breaks more than it fixes, or use it and frustrate users to no end. Using preline with some messages, especially those of size greater than the I/O buffer, generates an error, which sends the message back to run through .qmail again, and again and, you get the idea. Separating the Vacation process into an independent action with a .qmail extension (e.g. .qmail-vacation) seems like a good idea to isolate problems. newbie is such a much more hopeful word than dilettante! -- Please report bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] (only) to discuss security issues Support for registered customers and partners to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives by mail and http://www.mail-archive.com/devinfo%40lists.e-smith.org
