I'm also experiencing slow transfer rates, but it's when I'm using my web
publishing software (NetObjects Fusion) to publish my web pages to an iBay.
It seems to be extremely slow. I'm connecting via ftp as admin and pathing
to the ibay. It's connecting on port 21 to ftp.mydomainname.com through my
linksys 4 port DSL/Cable router. It makes no difference if I use my FQDN,
my internal IP, or my external IP - same results.
There is not a problem for the first upload to an iBay, but subsequent
uploads are very slow. I've even tried deleting all the files from the
directories and the directories before beginning the file transfer but it is
still very slow.
I'm using e-smith 4.1.2.
Anyone else having these problems or have any recommendations on what my
course of action should be?
