The most recent Mitel press:
http://www.mitel.com/products/product.cfm?p_id=22
has stated: "The best symbol of the multiple mergers is the March
Networks 3100 product, a piece of re-branded Mitel equipment destined to
run e-smith software."
Although e-smith has stated publicly that you intend to continue as
usual, there has been no public statement from Mitel, that I am aware of,
that states e-smith will continue as usual.
Mitel's public statements appear to imply that e-smith will become an add-
on to March Networks hardware product line.
For what it's worth, I would like to see a statement from Mitel to the e-
smith community, clarifying this issue and commenting on the status of
the upcoming e-smith 5.0 release and the future of e-smith as a
continuing GPL software product.
Would this be possible for Mitel to comment at this time?
Regards,
