check this out folks...
more for the advanced user would be interesting to see if this could be
married to e-smith...

Greetings,

Looking for people that are trying to empower small to medium libraries with
opensource Library Automation Software Put your LINUX expertise to use in
your hometown community.

Targets for this system are museums, school libraries, small regional town
libraries.
There are many Libraries out there without the funding for a commercial
product to automate with. We, as technical people, can help them!

Package includes circ module admin module and OPAC

We are going to implement this for our museum, SMECC
The Southwest Museum of Engineering, Communications and Computation

The system is currently running on RH 7.1 but would be interesting for some
of you to test this under other disto's of LINUX as well.

the site is
http://www.trfoundation.org/projects/koha_w.html

this product is free, it is open source

DISCLAIMER:
Ed Sharpe nor SMECC have any finiancial involvement nor association with
trfoundation

We do believe they are on the right track though!
... we just think this is something that we as tecnos can help the community
with
