Hi there! I hope you can excuse my ignorance on this topics...

I registered a couple of domain names with discountdomainregistry.com
following the recomendation of someone in the Experienced Users List...
Well either they can't point my domain name to my IP or I just can't find
where to do it... They offer www redirectio through domainredirect.com But
I can't seem to make it work with virtual domains in e-smith... No matter
what I do, the best I get is to have my new domain name point to my main
website, and not to the specifyied ibay...

I decided then, and since you can't get a refund with
discountdomainregistry.com (so I could register with a service that has
they're own dnss) to make my e-smith machine a DNS... I read the
Contributed HOWTO by alen (very clear instructions! :) and found out that
you need 2 DNS (if someone
could tell me why I will appreciate it)

So I went ahead and followed the instructions... I did the exact same
thing in 2 of my servers (and I mean exact, all the host files and
everything else looks exactly the same) Is this what I was supposed to do?

As a consecuence that I can see now, both of my e-smith servers don't work
as DNS for my internal network.... Better said, the machines that were
using my e-smith servers as gateways, can't resolve names anymore... But
the servers have internet access and can resolve the names entered in
telnet and lynx.... Was this supposed to happen??? If so, can it be
changed so the work again as name resolvers and are also public DNS???

How can I make sure what I did worked, and my servers are now public
DNSs???

When I enter the names of my server names with the registrar company, what
name shold I use? (my domain name that works fine for one of my servers is
www.rwsoft-online.com (registered with register.com), and the other server
doesn't have a name, just a
fixed IP)

All the help to fix my problems (the redirection to ibays, the DNSs and
all that) will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!!!
