FYI, back in July, Scott Smith sent me a draft of a HOWTO on setting up an
e-smith server to use PCMCIA cards. He said he wanted to take some
time to test it out a bit more before it was posted publicly.
However, Scott dropped me a note this morning to say that his schedule
right now just will not permit him the time to work on it, and he wants
to get it out so that it can help others who want to use PCMCIA (and
so that the rest of you can beat it up and test it as well).

So, with that in mind, you can find it at:

  http://www.e-smith.org/docs/howto/contrib/e-smith-pcmcia-howto-0.1-01.txt

Please do check it out and pass along to this list (which Scott is
on) any feedback you have.

BTW, I would like to publicly compliment Scott on a very well-written
and comprehensive document. I was especially pleased to see his
very well-done summary and introduction. Thanks, Scott, for putting
so much time into writing this up!

Regards,
Dan
