I recently installed e-smith on a Dell PowerEdge 2300
server with a Quantum 4000 DLT tape drive and
flexbackup is working beautifully with it.
This drive can back up 20 GB uncompressed, 40 GB
compressed and I think even works with the newer 35
GB/70 GB tapes. I've been using these drives for
several years, but only recently with e-smith. I've
been very pleased with their performance.
