hi
ifost have made some rpm's for unison, a very cool tool you can use to
synchronise files and directories on the same host or two hosts across the
network. we're also working on a web interface with the ultimate aim of
synchronising i-bays between two hosts.
you can get the rpm's from http://www.ifost.org.au/~peterw/ and find out
more about unison at http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/
i cant think of a reason why it wouldnt work on 5.0, but who knows. if
you run into problems, there is a staticly linked version up there too,
but the normal one should be fine for most of you.
dont forget rule number 8: "never install new software last thing friday
afternoon"
