Anton (or Darrell) could you forward Anton's responses to devinfo please. I also noticed the problems in CW's RPM (although I didn't know how to fix them).
SME v5 has freeswan 1.8 .... built in to both the single and multiprocessor kernels together with the required modules. But without _some_ of CW's RPM, nothing works. CW's build of the freeswan RPM is not needed. I did get some joy when I was working on this area, but did not get it fully working. But I do have a setup of: Windoze client IP supplied by DHCP SME v5 providing IP to above client, static external IP router box acting as internet (based on freesco) 2 fixed IP's one providing DHCP to SnapGear below SnapGear Lite+ www.snapgear.com with dynamic internet IP provided by router above. Acting as DHCP server for Windows boxen below Windows boxen provided with IPs by SnapGear. I have also got a spare SME 5 which I can put in place of the SnapGear if required (we just replaced some computers in our training room). What the above does not provide is pppoe (this is common for ADSL connections) which will affect slightly the dynamically assigned internet end as far as I can see. But I do have an ADSL connection at home which will allow testing with that method on the "real" internet. If we _are_ going to do some work, could I make a request to add in a fixed IP / roadwarrior option. I would be happy to look ito the UI, but the back-end programming is beyond me. I will also be at the cutting edge of testing.
