You bet it would.  Have the users just put something in a backup 
directory and leave it overnight.  Just about idiot-proof.

Hmmm, give the system admin the ability to do an on-demand backup run
just prior to doing some serious system work.  That would be useful to 
save some important stuff before a scheduled network outage or such.
GUI interface works.  Add / delete critical systems to look for if 
space is limited?  IP ranges? Couple possibilities.

Just my $0.02 worth.
