I didn't feel that there was concensus on the issue here, and chose the 
more secure option, consistent with our policy.

No, the average user doesn't use those apps, they use a browser and 
Microsoft Office. But that's splitting hairs. It is an issue, and as I 
said, we will need to deal with it.
