Duh, I missed the obvious. I guess was overthinking the solution. Thank you.
On my home network which is served by one SME 5.0 box in serv/gatway mode and one 4.1.2 box in server only mode, can I install another 'test SME 5.1' in serv/gateway mode with external interface pointing to my home LAN and internal interface connected to test client to simulate remote networks and test the NetMeeting remote access? Once again thank you for your advice, Steven Lewis At 06:14 PM 1/26/02 +0000, Darrell May wrote: >Steven Lewis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> said: > > > I have a need to gain remote control of client PCs (Win boxes) behind a > > SME server via TCP/IP. > >One of the easiest ways to accomplish remotely controlling client PCs, >behind an SME server is to use some exisiting ready-to-go tools. > >On the Windows client machines, install/activate Microsoft NetMeeting. >Then remotely launch a PPTP VPN connection into the SME Server.
