You also raise some valid points. Maybe the 'Create reinstallation disk' panel and the floppy-put-image event needs a good rewrite. Following other threads as well, we may want to create the following: Create reinstallation disks - Boot disk = used to boot and reconnect server to network only - Configuration disk = used to restore all configuration files - Tape recovery disk = used to boot and perform a complete recovery from tape Boot disk would only restore network parameters needed to re-establish the server and get back into the server-manager. Configuration disk simply holds copies of /home/e-smith/* db files Tape recovery is boot plus launches the to_be_created tape-restore-full event. Comments are welcomed.
