FYI, IBM recently came out with some pretty decent (IMHO) articles about
using RPM.

Part 1 covers the basics of using RPM:

   http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-rpm1/

Part 2 explains how to build RPMs as a user other than root, how to
create patches and how to distribute RPMS:

   http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-rpm2/

Part 3 talks about install and uninstall scripting:

  http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-rpm3/

I personally found them very helpful.

Regards,
Dan
