I've just released dcb-e-smith-phpmychat-0.14.5-1, which includes
all the language packs available (which are lots). Installation
couldn't be simpler--just 'rpm -ivh
dcb-e-smith-phpmychat-0.14.5-1.noarch.rpm'. To access, go to
http://yourserver/chat. This has been tested and found to work on
one mostly-stock SME 5.1.2 machine. I don't know of any dependencies
that would cause problems for anything >= 4.1.2, but I haven't tested
it on any other versions.
WARNING: the database scripts that ship with this version wipe your
existing phpMyChat tables, including user information.
I may write up a HOWTO, but I'm not sure it's necessary (after all,
it's just one command).
The file is in my contrib area on ftp.e-smith.org at
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/DanBrown/RPMS/noarch/
