Hi all, Lets see if this time it gets trough. It's the third time I try but seems Kmail gets screwed up with the From: field.
I'm pleased to announce a new major release of eneo-sysmonitor (old e-smith-monitor). This package is going to be called eneo-sysmon to be able to mantain both versions now on. The old one is a little less heavy on CPU usage the new one is more demanding but gives more information. New development will be done only in this new name version. We have to say this work has been a great collaborative effort between some of the members of this list. Specially we want to give most of the credit of this new release to Shad L. Lords. He has done most (if not all) of the work for this new release as we were working on a clients project and couldn't devote enough time to it. Please, all the claps and cheers go to him :) Also, we want to thank Darrell May, Timothee, and others for their test time and plenty of suggestions. As you can see, this is release 012 allready, due to the continous improvement and testing done by all the team members. We have waited a little to release this new version (it was ready a week ago) to reduce the load of e-smith servers due to PHP upgrades. Hope you all understand. There is no webpage yet. You can find required packages in: ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/eneo/RPMS/i386/rrdtool-1.0.33-2.asp.i386.rpm ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/eneo/RPMS/i386/sysstat-4.0.3-12.i386.rpm ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/eneo/RPMS/noarch/eneo-sysmon-3.0-13.noarch.rpm How to install: PLEASE, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK 1) Uninstall the old monitor version (e-smtih or eneo) and make a backup of the old databases 2) rpm -Uvh sysstat-4.0.3-12.i386.rpm 3) rpm -Uvh rrdtool-1.0.33-2.asp.i386.rpm 4) rpm -Uvh eneo-sysmon-3.0-13.noarch.rpm 5) Enjoy (hope so :)) The new install will try to transform all the old databases to the new format, but you might loose the data. This will surely take some time to finish. Also, bear in mind the data is not really the same (the old values were maximums, the new ones averages). Please, send any bug report or comment to [EMAIL PROTECTED] This release has been tested in ESGS 4.1.2 and SME Server 5.1.x Thanks and enjoy -- Jaime Nebrera - [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Please report bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] (only) to discuss security issues Support for registered customers and partners to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives by mail and http://www.mail-archive.com/devinfo%40lists.e-smith.org
