Have you looked at Darrell May's MindTerm Howto on his site? Using MindTerm (to ssh) and a tunnel, you can get to the server manager from your browser. I've got it set up to access my gateway server, and then another tunnel to my test network - it works very well and is pretty straightforward to configure (and you don't need to know PERL :>) Let me know if you need any help with it.
