Hello everybody, I'm writing a "Laurea" (Master) thesis about Internet Server Appliances at the CS Department of Pisa. The focus of the thesis is about how different products can help to manage *** interoperability and portability issues *** between different server appliances.
I read the e-smith documentation and it seems this product has a smart "customization" interface, well documented at the url http://www.e-smith.org/custom/, but I could not find information about a programming interface. As a simple example, I would be able to write an e-smith program able to create new users, reading the needed input from a text input file, like for instance: User=John;Password:secret;RealName:John Favaro:Quota:50MB User=Carl;Password:foo;RealName:Carl Simpson:Quota:100MB ... I would be very grateful for any information you could provide.
