Greetings all,

I'm trying to configure Apache to force files in a certain directory (for
example the "files" directory in an ibay) to prompt for download instead of
allowing Internet Explorer to attempt to open file types it knows about
(images, pdfs, docs, etc.) I thought the "ForceType
application/octet-stream" directive that is in place by default would do
this, but apparently not.

After looking at the Apache dos for ForceType, I think this directive is
what I should be using for this, but I can't find a list of valid
"media-types". Am I completely off base here?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
