Yes, the files/documents are stored on the server hard drive, it enable the
easier way to maintenance, manage or sharing the on a webpage.

I believe the documents are installed in a directory tree on the server hard
drive, not in the mySQL database.  This makes this app the same as all the
others, a web accessible security risk.
