It will be good to upgrade them to 4.2.2 because of security fix
and as Arvin says:
"Given my
experiences with PHP 4.2.1, I'd say that the current PHP 4.2.2
packages are generally rather stable and well-working."
Arvin php rpms were working on older release of e-smith.
On 5.5 I get:
[root]# rpm -Uvh *
error: failed dependencies:
php = 4.2.1-1db is needed by php-manual-4.2.1-1db
php = 4.1.2-2es3 is needed by php-imap-4.1.2-2es3
php = 4.1.2-2es3 is needed by php-ldap-4.1.2-2es3
php = 4.1.2-2es3 is needed by php-mysql-4.1.2-2es3
php = 4.1.2-2es3 is needed by php-pgsql-4.1.2-2es3
/usr/bin/php is needed by php-devel-4.2.1-1db
Why is that ?
Is there any work-around to install Arvin rpms ?? (uninstalling
current php rpms ?)
