On SME 5.5 I had to uninstall old php version because of
dependencies. (used rpm -Fvh *)

Then installed the new ones and it works. Just little pb with:

[root@e-smith dan]# rpm -Uvh php-pgsql-4.2.2-1db_rh72.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        postgresql is needed by php-pgsql-4.2.2-1db_rh72
        libpq.so.2 is needed by php-pgsql-4.2.2-1db_rh72

I am curious to know What are the differnces between your rpms and Arvin's ?
