I have a port forwarding contrib (e-smith-ipportfw) and Darrell May has a
similar package which also adds a management panel. I think these might do
what you are looking for.

Just "opening" ports on the firewall, OTOH, does help your problem of 
servers/clients behind the firewall. Your posting just emphasises my point 
that the existence of a port "opening" contrib is confusing.
