I have experienced the same problem. Is your browser configured to
browse through the Proxy server, port 3128?

When making changes to the squidguard settings in the server-manager,
and using the proxy server to connect... any changes made will restart
the squid. I believe this causes the error. Clicking on the Content
Filter link in the server-manager should then bring the config page back
up. Your changes should have taken effect.

When going through the transparent proxy of a Server/Gateway, the squid
restart doesn't affect the operation of the server-manager.

Does that make sense? The only time I've had trouble, I had my browser
configured to go through the Proxy server.

Let me know,
Abe
