I have SME 5.5 installed, and was wanting to perform some commands from a computer across a lan. I have read in the FAQ, that root access is disabled to telnet, and to use SSH instead. and it also gave some commands for telnet.
Anyway I was wondering if somehow it was possible to SSH into SME and gain root access. I would like to run some commands in root access to perform some functions. It would be a great help to do that, because I have to spend my time on another computer in a different room, and can't run back and forth to the other room.
