We backup our live servers to a non-public NFS mount in our colo nightly. We don't have failover planned at this point but will be happy to have others mirror the site. Once again, if Mitel is willing to provide this type of service we are happy to see them do it. In the alternative, we can provide this service to anyone who would like to use it. In all fairness, the Mitel solution has been vastly under-utilized by the community. IMO, this because it is not particularly handy to find info the way it is currently setup. There are certainly alternatives. Darrell has offered Mitel the LinkBase rpm as a start. It is just the current system that falls short (again IMO). Not knocking Mitel here, just want to discuss the reasons we're offering an alternative. -jeff -- Please report bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] (only) to discuss security issues Support for registered customers and partners to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Searchable archive at http://www.mail-archive.com/devinfo%40lists.e-smith.org
