My guess is that Charlie is thinking of the following contrib. http://www.contribs.org/contribs/saco/contrib/saco-mitel-lprng-monitor/ I installed it for a friend not that long ago, and have had no complaints. >From the notes is seems that it requires admin access, but the source is provided, so the potential to add user-level authentication is there. Still probably easier than re-inventing the wheel.
