For such special cases, I would just add the device to /etc/fstab.
If the device that is plugged is known in advance, this might work. We
had to deal with a large number of different devices.
In general, I would welcome a solution on that. Hard coded permissions
are not really a good way to go. And to make it clear: this is not such
a special case.
