-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Udisks2 added support for setting standby timers and I think some other drive settings. At the same time, udisksd is a demand start daemon, that is launched by dbus only when a client tries to use it. This combination seems to conflict: if no udisks client is run, then the settings won't be applied.
Now that I think about it, udisks also does periodic polling of SMART health, which has the same issue. Does it really make sense for udisksd to be demand start? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.14 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBCgAGBQJTF7vyAAoJEI5FoCIzSKrwVEwH/iZtTYRSfcO0eECITzdGOym4 rwx3UJNqcAtMnfyCi+alqH1LrbYXLEjd8QuavNoB/tpkanNnhknXmdTuFCOCyauG J1v1fnX7cRpI+3YePLUxXLKxYfC3KKtO6Oqx69WzNtnPjQFOupU8zMTkLtpgdn8I NmOFoWF3feWOYNptiNQO4mbCs56uWD8T+LQauVqbFgjCy7FLW/m6kxlCWblvzLKS 1TMHGYy+Ko8pPRh/wacwCAAgUNN4sUSuLzJ40k3Si9QBJ+urPYXM/AhqnGssfAcR 17JdH7noq/+A28RlmvX1o46EzFl1aqLi2T0dKvsT/y27fn6FWvb66bT7I5WHcgY= =csq1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ devkit-devel mailing list devkit-devel@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/devkit-devel
