I just checked this on my laptop running quite recent kernel (4.10) and it seems that a disk in the UltraBay is just reported as a SCSI/SATA disk. There's nothing indicating that it could be removable and it even seems to be impossible to say that it is in the UltraBay.
So UDisks2 has no way to report the disk as removable and support any extra features on it. However, the PowerOff() or Eject() method could power the disk of for safe removal. -- Vratislav Podzimek Senior Software Engineer Kernel Storage Red Hat Czech, Brno _______________________________________________ devkit-devel mailing list devkit-devel@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/devkit-devel
