That was a reference to the term used in some of the source code and
technical docs.  It's the part that's hashed in with the pubkey to
get the routing key.  Since DBRs depend on calculating that string
somehow, any URI spec needs to specify how that's done.

Er, what gave you the idea I was suggesting we encode an actual mapfile in
a URI?

I've thought about my simpler son of YAPFTUS though, and have decided that
using // to signify a mapfile is OK with me.
