Unless things have changed significantly, this is not true.
I believe that although that would be more convenient for the user
("Hey! This isn't the naked Eskimo I was looking for!"), it would also
make it possible to do metadata-only requests, which are distinctly
Bad.
The philosophy, as I understand it, is Buy the Ticket, Take the
Ride. You have to kill your node to end the transmission.
