Yeh, I used to experience it, then one day it magically went away. Sometimes
the weird white window 'appears' very briefly and then 'disappears' again.
Haven't tried the 0.3.9 yet though.
I fixed it in my C port of freenet.exe along with the decidedly dodgy
practice of calling DestroyWindow() call from within the WndProc which
caused the message pump to crash rather than exit cleanly, causing problems
on Win2K (at least for me)

I'm ready to stick my freenet.exe-in-C stuff into CVS - could someone please
suggest whereabouts in CVS it ought to go?

perhaps Contrib/wininstall/Sources/freenet.exe/in-C/ ?

Dave
