Hi Ian, I wonder if you remember me. My name is Peter Barr and I used to go out with Rachel Gibson who lived in your block in first year (she says hi by the way). I saw you several months ago in the Peppermint Lounge in Edinburgh and talked to you briefly about what you were doing with yourself etc. Anyway to my point, I'm writing a paper on P2P technology at the minute and was hoping that you may be able to give me any info about how your proj fits in with the likes of Gnutella etc. There's some very general newspaper reports etc out there that are very skimpy so I need to get something with a bit more meat in it, which includes something on the future potential, and possibly pros and cons of what you and P2P technology are capable of. Even if you could point me to something of interest that would be great.   I hope things are going well for you out there, in LA I think you said. Oh yeh saw a great pic of you in an internet mag the other day...very smart. Right I had better go, things to do people to see, but anything you could supply or point out would be fantastic mate.   Take care   Pete.
