Agreed, the Watchme code is not intended to be pretty, it is just 
intended to work - and not screw up the non-watchme network.  In-time 
we will probably strip out the Watchme code once it has served its 
purpose.  I wouldn't lose any sleep over kludges in the Watchme code 
(since the whole idea is basically a kludge anyway).
