I have heard some rumors that the ticker is forgetting scheduled events (in particular - Watchme events). Is this true? What is the evidence? Anyone debugging this at this time?
The Ticker functionality seems somewhat ugly, in that it isn't generic (it only supports the functionality of sending a MessageObject to a MessageHandler, rather than more generic callback functionality) - this forces us to use a wrapper (the Checkpoint stuff) to make it look Generic - a rather wrongheaded solution. Perhaps we need a rewrite. Comments? Volunteers?
