A repeatable; but transient installation issue was noted this evening with
the windows installer.

It would appear that the .jar files posted to the freenetproject website
were broken for some duration; possibly due to the nightly rebuild. This
resulting in an error similar to
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=421228&group_id=978
&atid=100978 (which is out of date and should be closed if anyone is able --
suggest closing with something along the lines of installation has
significatly changed from a year ago)

In the time taken to pull the CVS source for the windows install and do some
poking around; and then deciding to re-run the install program to copy down
the exact error --- the error was magically resolved and became non
repeatable (was repeatable 3 times in a row; then suddenly not..)

Suggest three things:
    1) Close the bug in sourceforge; avoid people thinking that it is an
unresolved bug from a year ago..
    2) Post on the website / in the install program that if the installation
fails to try again in a few hrs..
    3) Look at the .jar build / post routines .. is there something that can
be done to avoid having broken jar(s) posted while they are rebuilt?

My analysis could be totally off .. as I didn't think things would suddenly
change on me; so I didn't keep proper notes!!

For the original person noting the issue; the windows installer is still
'broken' ; but he also notes that he cannot de-jar the freenet.jar file with
jar xf freenet.jar (gets a message java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid
entry size (expected 2638 but got 530 bytes) ) -- I am guessing a caching
proxy between the person and the web ; although that cannot be conclusively
verified..
