Hi. I am going to be working on fixing Oskar's distribution servlet. It is reasonably easy to produce a zip file for UNIX with the appropriate scripts, and he has already written the code to produce the JAR. However, for windows, the installer downloads seedNodes and freenet.jar from freenetproject.org/snapshots. I need to be able to make a ZIP with seedNodes.dist, freenet.jar.dist, and the installer, and have it automatically pick up on both of them. I also need not to personally touch any win32 code :) So if somebody would change the installer to recognize distributed seedNodes/freenet.jar's, or inform me that this is already the case (and tell me what the filenames looked for are), this would be very helpful. The distribution servlet will be a web servlet run optionally on freenet nodes that distributes full freenet installer packages, but with the local node's reference substituted for seedNodes. This should reduce the single point of failure effect, and more importantly, greatly improve node announcement.
