I just checked in changes to make fred ignore obsolete parameters in freenet.conf/ini and to force mainport to be run on 8888 even if services is overidden but doesn't include mainport.
The windows installer still won't set fproxy parameters but I think that it at least won't keep fproxy/nodeinfo from running with the default parameters anymore. Could someone try the windows web install again after tonights midnight pst snapshot and send a mail to the list with the results. tia. Note: You will see WORKAROUND: blah blah blah warnings in your log file if you have fproxy.* / nodeinfo.* entries in your config file.
