It is since 535 that the stable & unstable
 version of Freenet became are incompatible
 with all version of Kaffe, including 1.0.7 cvs.

 From an inspection of the error code it seems
 to me that this particular incompatibility
 arise from a single call of single method that
 kaffe hasn't.

Due to the commitment of the Freenet Project
 to the Free Software, an inspection of this
 question  with a patch if my pre-analisys
 is correct seems IMHO important.

One side effect of this enduring situation
 would be the phase out of all nodes that
 use Debian or that are on server with policies
 that forbid non-free software,
