Is there any way to prevent prevent horizontal scrollbars from appearing on an IFRAME object (in HTML/XHTML)? The IFRAME will contain text/plain data, and I'd like it to wrap in a natural manner, so that only vertical scrollbars will be necessary. Yet there does not appear to be any straightforward way to specify this from what I can see. The scrolling options in the (X)HTML spec are "yes", "no" and "auto".
Does anyone know of any tricks, workarounds, dirty hacks, undocumented features, etc.? Unnecessary horizontal scrollbars are the most evil thing since Javascript! -- Greg Wooledge | "Truth belongs to everybody." [EMAIL PROTECTED] | - The Red Hot Chili Peppers http://wooledge.org/~greg/ |
