I guess it should be a way of getting numbers how many Freenet users are there ;-) the chance of getting a "heisenbugged ID" is 1:4294967296, combined with the average number of packages per node (all developers that run a node know that number) will give an approximate number how many nodes are out there. If only the windows users read their log files ;-) (no, this is not serious, only kidding) now for being serious: there were problems in some old IBM(?) JDKs that caused lotsa heisenbugs in series and these messages should be used to track down which ones. But as now I saw reports from nearly all Sun JVMs as well, this seems to be usual randomness (or should it be prevented somewhere in the code to create heisenbug-looking IDs?). IANAD (i am not a devil^H^Heloper), mihi BTW: were these messages contiguous in your logfile or did you "collect" them? _______________________________________________ devl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hawk.freenetproject.org:8080/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/devl
