yes, it is pretty heavy even without users sharing any files.  It gets a lot
heavier when they share but not upload, and when they upload... well you know.


On a different note, isn't it a lot more appropriate to use the watchme network
when significant changes like pcaching and NG routing are deployed?  Esp. for
the latter it makes a lot more sense to actually see where the requests are
going through and where not.  For pcaching, if it is not too late and too hard,
the watchme code could be modified to submit a ds histogram in order to test
specialization.

Empirical evidence beats any simulation, imho.
