FreeMail is an experimental Mail-over-Freenet daemon.

The concept is simple: An email account is simulated by a
SSK keyspace, the email address is the private key.
Others can send messages by inserting into this keyspace,
(and everybody can read it, so you better use PGP if you need
a private email account). All this works transparently via POP and
SMTP proxies which handle connections from email clients
and carry out the corresponding Freenet operations.

More details are available on the FreeMail site:
www.tu-ilmenau.de/~cb4/FreeMail/

Please check the README for a thorough explanation of the program
and more info.

This version has some rough edges, but if people think it might be useful
I'll do a rewrite sometime soon.

Have fun,
Martin Richtarsky
