Just wanted to remind people about this:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/freenet/Contrib/cachedot/Cachedot.java?rev=1.9&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup

It is some Java code I hacked together about a year ago which
watches Slashdot and when a new story appears, it mirrors it into
Freenet to combat the /. effect.

At the time I was hoping that someone would take-over the effort
(there is a TODO in the code), but nobody did. Perhaps now
someone might be willing to look into it.

Ian.
