http://freenetproject.org/snapshots/freenet-unstable-latest.jar

Save it in your Freenet directory as "freenet.jar" which will overwrite 
the existing freenet.jar file.

Then run Freenet as normal - you should see that it says "build 6XXX" 
instead of "5XXX" on the gateway page.
