Hello,

I am noticing some problems with freenet of late
whereby it simply seems to sit there and spin its
wheels. By this I mean that the web interface becomes
unresponsive but the little animated mozilla icon show
activity. It is possible to leave the web browser like
this for hours and nothing will happen. No timeouts or
anything.

This doesn't seem to happen straight away but maybe
after a couple of minutes of the system running. Only
way that seems to fix this problem is to stop and then
restart the node.

In the latest stable (598) this was normally
accompanied by announcement failures.

In the latest unstable (6065) this may be related to
these errors:

28-Jun-2003 12:49:48
(freenet.transport.ReadSelectorLoop, read interface
thread, MINOR): Readiness selection screwed - 0 byte

This is on Suns JDK 1.4.2 running under Red Hat 8.
