We will address the memory usage in 0.5.3. In the meantime, NIO needs
more memory than the pre-NIO builds, at least sometimes, and we want to
get 0.5.2 out ASAP. Sorry. Stay on 598 for now, or get more memory...

I'm quite amazed sometimes at the low spec machines people manage to run
freenet on.
